It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Vic McCarty, who left us peacefully on April 6, 2026, at Munson Hospice House. Vic faced his diagnosis of pancreatic and prostate cancer with remarkable courage over the past year, giving his all to fight the illness. His determination, strength, and positivity during this time were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Vic’s passion for broadcasting was evident throughout his distinguished career. He loved connecting with viewers, sharing stories, and being a trusted voice in the community. He was happiest behind the microphone, on the air, and in front of the camera, engaging with people and making a difference through his work. His dedication, warmth, and professionalism left an indelible mark on the community he served.
We extend our deepest condolences to Vic’s family—his mother, sisters, and close friends—as they navigate this tremendous loss. Our thoughts and hearts are with them during this difficult time.
