It is with heartfelt sorrow and deep reflection that we honour the life and legacy of a beloved grandmother, affectionately known as “Minister Vina.” A faithful servant of the Lord, she lived a life grounded in unwavering faith, compassion, and service to others. Though small in stature, her presence was powerful, and her spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Her walk with Christ was truly inspiring. She offered wisdom, encouragement, and steadfast prayers to those around her, especially during life’s most challenging moments. Her words carried comfort, and her faith provided strength not only to her family but to her church and community as well.
Through every season of life, including times of personal health challenges, her support never faltered. She remained present and engaged—celebrating milestones, attending gatherings, and pouring love into her family and friends. Her home and her heart were always open.
She will also be remembered for the warmth she brought into everyday moments—through her laughter, her candid humor, and the meals she lovingly prepared. From her famous banana pudding and sweet potato pie to her comforting chicken and dumplings, she created not just food, but memories that will be cherished forever.
While her physical presence is no longer with us, the essence of who she was lives on in the lives she touched. In 79 years of life, including 34 as a devoted grandmother, she remained a guiding light—one that continues to shine through love, memory, and legacy.
As we grieve, we also find healing in togetherness, in routine, and in the support of community. Her life reminds us that even in loss, love endures.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her light continue to guide us always.
