It is with profound sadness and heartfelt compassion that we honor the life of James Aden Dobbs, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the tender age of 16. His passing is a devastating loss to his family, friends, and the entire Douglas, Alabama community.

James Aden Dobbs will be remembered for his bright spirit, kind heart, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. He also held a close connection with his grandparents, Patricia Dobbs and Dale and Sandy Longenecker, along with his aunt, cousins, and loved ones who will forever carry his memory forward.

James was preceded in death by his infant brother and his grandfather, James Ira Dobbs. While their absence was deeply felt, there is comfort in knowing they are now reunited.

Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate James’s life on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Lemley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at noon followed by funeral services and burial at Union Grove Cemetery.

Though his life was tragically short, James Aden Dobbs will be remembered as a light that shone brightly. His legacy of love, kindness, and youthful spirit will never be forgotten.
