Freschi of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, whose passing at just 22 years old has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community. Blake’s life, though far too brief, was filled with purpose, resilience, and a spirit that inspired all who knew him.
Blake courageously lived with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, yet he never allowed these challenges to define him. Instead, he demonstrated remarkable strength, determination, and an unwavering passion for life. A proud and dedicated athlete, Blake was deeply involved in sports throughout his time at Hasbrouck Heights High School. Whether on the wrestling mat, football field, golf course, or baseball diamond, he gave his all with heart and perseverance. He also participated in basketball and track, embracing every opportunity to grow, compete, and connect with others.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Blake will be remembered most for the kind of person he was—loyal, genuine, and full of warmth. He was a beloved son to Kelly and Fred Freschi, a devoted brother to Dylan, Hunter, and Brooke, and a cherished friend to many. His friendships, including those formed through programs like Springboard and Career Crossroads, were deeply meaningful, filled with shared laughter, memories, and simple joys that will never be forgotten.
Those closest to Blake recall his infectious smile, his positive energy, and his ability to make others feel valued and supported. Whether it was sharing meals, enjoying everyday moments, or encouraging his friends, Blake had a way of bringing people together.
